I don't know what any of that is... But sounds cool!
So will you basically be the the fab factory? Making stuff like they did?
I don't either, but it sounds like Erica will be able to make us some 'cool' stuff.

Not sure @MiM (don't know Fab Factory's business model)?
Here's how I wrote mine (I'm sure they'll probably be a few similarities here and there):
> Make one-off customs for my sling I personally would like to have
> Make limited-edition [numerically engraved] runs of one-off customs for people who show interest in what I've made (cap those runs to 10 or so units)
> If demand is greater... contract the parts/kits through a local metal fabrication company for batch runs (non-custom); ship those assemblies to external vendors for resale
> Offer custom services to design stuff (one-off runs)
In the end, it really comes down to whether you like what I make. I know, not everything will be for everyone... and that's OK. For me though, it's all about creating cool stuff (humoring the quality and design stickler inside me... the one who has a love for making).
In other news, I'm currently in the process of creating relationships with a couple of raw material distributors in the area. After dulling a perfectly good bit using mislabeled aluminum off of Amazon ~> I think buying local is the route I'm going to take.

So what exactly falls under custom services?
