West Jefferson NC - Possible Location for the first Spring meet up and ride

I thought I would put this out and see if we can muster enough interest to put something together. Colette and I were at our cabin in Hays NC, near Stone Mountain State park. We haven't had this place very long so we are still learning the area. We stumbled upon this great little town called West Jefferson Visit West Jefferson, NC - Shop, Dine, Stay, Explore! Everyone fits here..

What a great little town for a meet up plenty to do in town especially for the ladies if they like shopping, a bunch of restaurants and a brewery. Best part are the mountain roads - they have slingshot written all over them. Take a look at the website for the town and look the surrounding area up on goggle maps. I think this could become a regular stop for us.

If there are any forum member local to the area that could chime in please do. I will do some more scouting next trip up.

Spring is around the corner, don't let the snow and cold fool you.

Depends on who wants to go.
Just thought it looked like a cool place to have a meet up.
Could even be later in the year

I was thinking a weekend event similar to Murphy or Clarksville events.
I have a meeting with the town on Tuesday and will post all the scheduled events in Clarksville after the meeting

I am not looking to replace anything just find another location / date if possible

Looks like we have enough interest to get the ball rolling.
I will have to look into hotels in the area. My cabin is about an hour away but we can't get the Slingshot up the mountain the roads are too steep and all gravel.
Would love to find someone local that knows the roads better than me.
