Which is best and why?
4 point Corbeau Harnesses, Sparco, Beard, Tanaka or PRP

My vote is below SCROTH Racing
Not on your list but they are DOT 3" shoulder belts and 2" Lap
Not cheap -
Whey where on my list I've been all day at this research and forgot to add them.
-
I think Stickerdick and WraithSS are running them possibly even GPcustoms - he turned me on to them.
Just expensiveI wanted DOT belts and there are not many options
-
Yup, I'm running the Schroth harnesses as well. But, have Corbeau pads on them so they match the seats. Silver wasn't an option for the model I picked up, so I got the black ones. The silver looks awesome Mitch!

Schroth and Takata both have 4 point harnesses that have anti-submarine devices in the shoulder strap. It is a pretty cool set up.

Do you find these more comfortable? Stylish? Or safer? Just trying to understand this mod. At least I wouldn't reach to the wrong side to put it on... every single time.

When pushing the Slingshot to the limit the harnesses are more comfortable. They hold you in place and make you feel like your are part of the vehicle and not being thrown around by it. They are safer in certain circumstances. However, they do make it hard to check your surroundings since you can't lean forward.

I saw those too - seems like that is too good to be true. Gotta be poor quality at that price point.

One thing to consider is your wife. Some of those harnesses require you to individually insert the belt into the latch, that is 4 belts to insert. I have the PRP so there is very little learning curve for my wife. Sometimes she still forgets and tightens up the shoulder harness before the lap belt so when she tries to snap the buckle together it is up by her boobs. Just a thought to consider if you have someone else riding with you.

My bride has already said no way till she tried em out when I showed her pics of 4 pt harness. This is the only time I can ever recollect big hooters being a problem
-
Just ordered 2 of these off of Amazon PRP SB4.2 4.2 Harness

Bill, my wife only uses the 4pt harness when we ride hard. There is enough lack that you can just tuck them behind the seat and she can use the regular seat belt. That is what my wife does.

Exactly what I have.

I have a touch of ocd and like all my stuff matching. I just ordered a set of NRG 4 point harnesses to match my NRG pedals, e-brake, and steering wheel. I am most likely going to leave the stock seats in. Will probably just change them to the all black ones. I have a set of all black seats out of a 2016.5 slingshot. I plan on taking the stock seatbelts out.

Great! How do you like them?

I agree with @Tim0341 Put them in and let her try them. I'm planning on using the stocker just around town and the 4 pt on the road for longer hauls.

Can you post a pic of how they're attached behind the Rollbars?
