@exharleyrider glad that you made it to the real slingshot forums, the stock size is a M6 x 1.0 but it can easily be retreaded to 1/4"

Welcome @exharleyrider!

Ok M6X1.0 but can go 1/4 by tapping it. Thanks. Now to see what is at Menards in Stainless and I will have my GPS mount done. Only thing left is for me to get it to dealer for the 4 recalls and a ECU flash to fix the knotch or hump at the 12:00 position on the steering wheel. Warranty runs out on 11/13/17. A shame since there is only about a 1000 miles on her right now. Not my fault just got her and got 160 on her then the wx turned to crap.

As I mentioned on TDS I personally recommend Sport Rider in Altoona WI, you are very close to @mniron and I know he goes to river valley in rochester maybe get in touch with him and he can make an introduction there since he knows them well.
I personally haven't used RV but Phil uses them and recommends them, anything to add @mniron ?
Looking forward to next year riding season!

Rods Ride On in Lacrosse ordered the parts and they are in. Just have to tough out the cold wx and get it down there. Should be able to do that midweek. Thank you for the help. Looking forward to meeting you in person.

will do. I know their SS tech did no have any returns on the swingarm recall because he caught the fact that there were no plugs in the new swingarms and he used the ones from the old swingarm. I know it isn't much but at least he had some common sense. Fingers crossed that he will be good. Will let you know

Welcome to the World of Slingshot Insanity.... I'm not generally a big fan of extended warrantees --- But I did buy the three year extended Polaris on my unit. The dealership have a big mark up on the pricing some shop a little.
FixMyToys.com - Powersports & Lawn Mower Parts Superstore gives all forum guys a nice discount. Find and make friends with a good Slingshot dealer near you --- or far --- mine's 120 miles
In 2.5 years I've put 59,000 miles in the seat of the Slingshot --- I'll get my money out of the extended warrantee. -

I am in Winona, Mn. A great place to ride. On the motorcycle I usually headed up river in the Wi. side or down river to Prairie Du chien (sp)on Ia. side then back up the Wi side. Love riding in this area and cant wait to get the SS on theses roads. Some very nice twisties back in the bluffs on both sides.
