I want to get more info from the OP. I saved the pics but forgot where I got them.
Help - I cannot find the thread for this pic

That would be mine @lowlander. This is in the “What mods etc.” thread.
What questions do you have? -
Thanks. Was wondering what the wheel side of the mesh looked like, and how it was attached. I do like your mod.

I will take a couple pics in a few min. This is still being worked on. Had to stop for Eureka and have been too busy to get back to it to clean it up all the way. Lets a ton of air through and there is no more flapping in the side skirt.

No rush at all for the pics. The objectives you achieved regarding air flow and fender lift are exactly what I want to deal with. What material is the mesh?

Here are a couple pics of current (sorry if it’s dark).
I also cut the strange point off the forward edge (bottom). About 3”. Just brought it back straight to make the bottom edge straight. And I used my Dremel to cut out the little triangles in the bottom to let water drain.
Used door edge trim, fender clips, and plastic grill from customcargrills.com. About $40 after shipping for a 6”x36” piece. They have lots of different kinds types. Bent to go around the curve w my heat gun.
Started doing the cut with my Dremel with a round blade. Found out it was much easier to cut a slot and use a hacksaw. Ground the edges to the right shape then filed smooth.
Took a bit of time for the first one but was much easier on the other side. -
BTW @lowlander, just noticed a leaf in the upper corner of the vent. That is now gone.
Used clips similar to these but metal. They didn't have these plastic ones.
Picked them up at my local Autozone. -
@dangerdarrell you know we can’t have any leaves in grill Work or on our slings. There where you are you rarely see any leaves, am I right. Still pretty country, I’ll be back! Thanks again for some good rides
