When we get together again, I'll introduce you to a few other riders in our area. Great bunch of guys. We may not do a lot of wrench days anymore, but we still have fun when we all get together.
What, the cookie supply dries up and you guys can't find any other reasons to get together?

The battery on my 16.5 is in it's death spiral. If I don't drive her everyday it will sound a little labored when I first hit the button. I hate the thought of sinking $350 plus into a battery and tray for this thing. I got a good 5 years plus on my tiny motorcycle battery when I had my bike. SMH at the Polaris cost cutters. Should have put a decent battery in these things.

Thanks Man. I look forward to meeting everyone, Nutty or not. Look forward to good rides in the future also. I greatly appreciate the conversation we had last night. This forum has been a lot of help. My love of the Slingshot will have me spending more money than ever, but that is why I bought it knowing all the upgrades available.
Speaking of riding...let me know what you are up to on Sunday. @av8ingtom and I are meeting at the WAWA right around the corner from me at 10:00 tomorrow. Lunch at the Virginia Diner, and then we are off to the ferry at Surry. From there we will probably hit the Colonial Parkway and make our way back to the Beach. If you and the wife are interested, meet us at the WAWA.

I sure do miss those cookies. And the fact the @sideseatdriver had to twist my arm to get me to try her cookies....such fond memories!!!!!! I'm looking at clearing up some of my commitments for the first part of next year. Trying to set aside some time to get down to your neck of the woods. Maybe I can talk @av8ingtom into making the trip with me!!!!

I have a 2017 SLR. My battery dies if I am not able to start it up within 5 days. I had no problems until I purchased an alarm system for it. Could this be because a Bad ground. Or is there something else I might be able to check?
I have a 2017 SLR also. Had the same problem after an alarm was installed. Dealer sent it back for a replacement. Don’t have it back yet. What name of alarm did you have?

Tim. I have the Polaris alarm on my Sling, and never had that issue. I did upgrade to the big battery, but had the alarm before the battery upgrade with no issues. How much draw do you have on the battery with the alarm activated?? I have my factory battery if you want to swap yours out. If battery is bad, you should be under warranty, but you would probably need to leave your sling at the dealer for a week to get the battery replaced.

I am not sure on the draw with it activated. I don't have the problem often because the Ride doenst sit long. It was just when we had that long rain 2 weeks ago and 1 other time before that. We talked about that dealer
