Just purchased a Cardo Packtalk Bold intercom system. Recommended by the motorcycle group I ride with. I don't have experience with other units but I can say this unit worked well. It will pair up with a smartphone and a blue tooth enabled GPS unit. Also has FM radio and capable of linking up to 15 riders. I had the opportunity to use it on a ride as sweep today. The transition from music to intercom is seamless and communication flow remained uninterrupted. Great tool with large groups and ride management! Also an alternative to the stock SS audio system while keeping the music personal (it can be shared through the system). I was surrounded by a few loud bikes (both audio and exhaust) and the filter worked well.
Voice commands were "so-so" Sometimes voice commands worked, sometimes not. Easy manual operation if voice commands aren't recognized. There's exact verbiage and that may have been an error on my part.
