Fall Indiana Meet and Greet -- Grissom AFB

We will meet at the base museum and have the opportunity to take our Slingshots out to the field where all of the great machines of the past are parked (park under the wing and take a picture).

The base is located about 1.5 hours north of Indianapolis on US 31.
There is a nice restaurant a short distance away where we will plan to have lunch about 2:00 pm.

The museum is run by volunteers and donations. I think they ask for a small donation and have a nice indoor display and gift shop.

Northwest --- La Porte, Indiana area Slingshot will meet in the parking lot at the intersection of IN2 & IN39 (Christo's Rest) to ride together to Grissom on 21 Oct meet 9:15 am CDT with (kick stands up) at 9:30. It's about 1.5 hours to Grissom...

When I was riding with one of the Gold Wing groups we had a friend that taged along as part of the group...he did not ride but drove his pickup...he attached a kick stand to the running board just to fit in!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
