Great info!

Is anyone doing this ride?

The wife and I are planning on the Northeast ride. Departing St Paul, Extreme Power Sports for the 500
The way it's set up it would be fairly difficult (not impossible) for riders departing from different locations to hook up because of the distance between. -
I am still on the recovery road after a good bike accident last year so I am not sure I would last the whole 500 mile ride. Aside from that I did talk to a few buddies about it. I might attempt the start, if it gets to be too much cut it short and head home early.
-
That's pretty well our plan also @Kruzinstyl Never know perhaps we should make a ride out of it to hook up and meet fellow Slingers. No cost or loss to it anyhow.
-
Just registered for tomorrow's ride. Got up to late for the 1000 mile ride today.
-
I'd still like to ride, but the wife works today and tomorrow, so I'm on daddy daycare. Anyone want to watch 3 adorable kids for the day?

All things sling are 3 so just tie them to your ride or alternatively have 2 walk and drive with one down the road for 10 miles drop them off and tell them to keep walking and go back and pick up the next one and drive them 20 miles down the road and drop them off with the same instructions and go pick up the 3rd child and drop them off 30 miles down the road and tell them to keep walking. You could complete the first Cannonball 1500. Just remember to tell them to "don't tell mom"

Thanks for the original post. Bumping this thread for 2017.
I was looking at the site and it is obviously aimed at motorcycles. Has anyone done one of these rides with a Slingshot, and how were you received?
It looks like you are pretty independent (eg. you pick your own start point) so I'm thinking you could just do the ride anyway even if they won't accept you as an entry?
-
The folks in Alberta that I talked to last year did not care if you register 2 wheels or 3 wheels. Both styles of bikes are welcome to ride.

No issues with a Slingshot last year.
