RD do you remember how much the extinguisher was?

The big difference of this design to others is the deletion of any pull pin or pull lever to operate. The mechanical action only requires one hand to both release and reattach. In the limited space we work with in the SlingShot this is a very good thing.
Comparatively speaking to other products on the market this is it's selling feature and is still priced competitively. -

If you build it, they will come.

@MACAWS working out the details. It will be a minimum of 45 days (possible) more to have inventory ready.
I'm just gauging interest and to see if worth an up front investment on my part.
I'll keep everyone posted, but at this time still looking for feedback.
Supplying the extinguisher was one suggestion but as I explained it would be cost prohibitive for me at this time.
Will it fit a common size of extinguisher? Or, does it have to be the one extinguisher that you listed below? Or is it adjustable to different size options?

it works with different sizes. I will more than likely supply two sets of SS worm clamps for this reason. It fits the larger versions you can pick up inexpensively from the home improvement stores.

I'm in too RD. I was thinking under the glove box but a nice selling point of yours is the ability to reach it one handed when strapped or trapped in the cockpit. Nicely done!

thank you. In that case you would mount it in the opposite direction than what you see in my pics.
Good thinking -
What do you think of a simple snap on/off flat-black, vinyl cover that attaches at the top only and drapes over it for visual security when away from the Sling, without seriously restricting access if it was left on?
It would look better than throwing a towel over it.

so some type of cover for the full assembly when mounted?

That's what I was thinking. It seems like an easy grab from that location, but I haven't seen how visible it is from the outside. You can't lock it or it won't be available when you need it.

hmm, might be a good NOS mount also...
-
@MiM looks like I'm gonna have a gently used fire extinguisher for sale
You in ?????Free shipping?

Patrick, would this work with any aftermarket seat?
