3rd Annual 2017 Ball Equipment Slingshot Dream Cruise & Waterford Track Event (Thu, Aug 17th 2017, 12:00pm - 4:00pm)

Count me in! Michigan Slingshot track day and Woodward Dream Cruise? Sounds like an epic day for sure.

Ok, Here's some info for Thursday if anybody is heading up.
The township regulations that we are forced to operate under state that all vehicles must be equipped with a commercially available muffler.
Also, all persons who go on the track will be required to wear a helmet…no exceptions.
The gates will be open at 11:00am and will close at 6:00pm you may come and go anytime it fits your schedule.
Concession stand will be available as no food is to be brought in from the outside.
We will be doing a ride down Woodward that evening.
I'm sure more will be updated if anything comes up.
Don't forget rain gear.

@FixMyToysZach or @jaycanter are a helmet and muffler the only rules? The track events I have been to also required close toe shoes, pants and jackets(if I am recalling correctly).

Butt naked & a helmet should work!

That was copied thru the emails from the track for requirements, there was no mention of the other items. We can check to verify or maybe @FixMyToysZach knows something i don't.

The track day was great. There was an hour and a half pause do to rain, but the track dried up quick. I had a blast. Thanks again Ball Equipment. Good seeing and speaking with old and new faces.

I suck at remembering to take good or many photos. I did see a quad kit I hadn't seen before. He says that traction control and ABS are still functional. There were a couple drones, so hopefully we see some video footage.

@FixMyToysZach myself and my wife had fun even though we decided to leave the slingshot at home due to weather. I am hoping that next time you don't let Mother Nature know about it and the sun will shine for us. Thanks for putting this together for everyone. Tom
