First I did not agree with a lot of John McCains ideology. I also kinda hold a grudge from him giving us Obama. That being said I cannot see how he is any more of a hero than any other soldier that fought spilled blood in Vietnam. He should be honored for the HUGE sacrifices he made for our country BUT 5 years in a POW camp does not compare to all that were all killed in the jungle. After all he had a very good life after his release - over 58,000 did not. Just saying we should IMO keep things in perspective.

Did you see the Democrat nominee for Governor of FL ..... made a 38 point gain in 24 hours ..... from dead last in the polls to a win ..... um..ok....Proudly admits most of his money came from Soros and Steyer, under FBI investigation for corruption in Tallahassee when he was mayor, wants to do away with ICE, wants FL to be a sanctuary state, wants free health care for all including illegals, wants a state income tax and higher corporate rate to pay for all the socialist gimme's he proposes, stated today that he absolutely wants the President impeached (a prerequisite for Steyers money) .....
The Dem who came in second wouldn't be my choice but at least she was reasonable and would probably keep the state on a decent path.....
Of course the Republican nominee received more votes than the top three Democrats combined (he was not my preference but I am registered NPA so....) but if some how the Dem gets elected Florida's growth will stop ... we have had a budget surplus for a few years now, businesses are coming back to the state in record numbers, and if we don't have a storm this year it is on track for some serious gains .... our state is booming but it could all just into a toilet.gif

BTW- Jerry Brown appears hell-bent to do as much damage as possible before he leaves office- signed the "no bail necessary" bill- set to kick in next Oct. 1...... From what I read- local jurisdictions will set up their own criteria of what a "risk to society" is. What could possibly go wrong with that?
Also- all power to be renewable by 2045. (solar, wind, etc). Laudable idea, but again- big brother gov't telling citizens how they must live their lives..... -

FITS hope to see you in ES.I don't do facebook either. I had hoped to be there, but right now plans are so much up in the air. I won't know much more until Tuesday. I won't be able to make it to the Polaris run on the 15th though. That was high on my list to attend. but things happen for strange reasons. I'm also in the process of trying to find a turbo to use so I can send out my leaking one to Precision to have them freshen it up
