I want a service manual and I'm debating paper or disc. Paper $170. Disc $40. Paper I can read anywhere. Disc I have to be in front of a computer.
Service manual on disc

Disc can be ripped and placed on your phone...tablet...
You can zoom in to see aspects clearer.
There are advantages.

I like that idea...can you provide the instructions on how to do that? I'm challenged electronically...
-
I also prefer soft copy, I can use the search feature to look for things much quicker. I'll usually just print out whatever I need (usually a page or 2) and take it out in the garage with me when I'm working on something specific. And when the pages are all greasy and dirty, I just throw them away. My soft copy of the Service Manual still looks BRAND NEW!!

You need some type of software to copy the disc first.

Find one that is user friendly and use it. Then when you want to copy it, choose to save as a file rather than copy to another disk.
From there, simply load the file to your phone / tablet and you're good to go.

Is anyone going to have copies available to buy at SSITS?

If you've got an ipad (or iphone), just open up itunes on your computer, go to the book tab. Just click and drag desired material over to that page. You can then sync it to your device. I keep all my service manuals on my ipad, much easier to use, when and where needed and you can take more easily on trips.

I tried everything possible to do what you described and it's not happening... Got the manual downloaded to my Microsoft surface pro laptop and there is no way to get it into iTunes....on my iPad or I phone...it won't let me do it.

that is odd.
I'll defer to wraithss on these particulars as i run a Samsung and files are as simple as drag & drop.

I'm right there with you about the Samsung's. I stopped using iPhones long ago. I can't help much with iTunes files transfers.

Ok, I finally got the service manual loaded on my laptop, iPhone and iPad...I can't seem to find a way to print out an individual page...ok I admit I'm computerly challenged. Happy now... : )
-
Well I finally got the wiring diagram to print from the disc file ....it's not stellar....you can barely read anything. I'll say this that harness is really packed with wires. They are many different isolated diagrams....one for the engine, one for the radio, one for the console, one for the lights...the chassis diagram has all of the separate ones included.

Does anyone know how to print a page off the service manual disc? I'm using either iPhone or iPad.
I did print out the wiring diagram once but I can't find a way to do it on iPad/iPhone ...I think I may have used my computer to do that..would like to use iPad.

I got this ...... ALT + F + P

I have it in drop box...that's jogging my memory I think I have to do it in my books ...maybe
-

I figured it out thanks...
You have to open the manual...then open each page individually. Then you can export it to the printer or email
I hate being electronically challenged ....
I've been trying to print for two months ...
