I was testing wires just so I could find where they run, and which wires are which.
All of a sudden I lost my left turn signal entirely.
What did I do?

Sorry, I can't help you, but I'm following this because it sounds like something I would do.... and then blame on K2.

I'm not sure what you did, or how to fix it. But this may or may not help.
Well the wirdest thing happened tonight.
Turned it off, and forgot about the issue. Went up town to grab a few things forgetting all about the signal.
It is working just fine now.
So, yeah....no idea what I did or how it fixed itself
Well it stumped the hell out of me, as I couldn't think of how it would have tripped anything out from using a fricking test light.
Which also tells me that the circuit is taxed to the max and I can't likely tap in 3 little penny lights without tripping the relay again.
A couple people told me the Slingshot has resetting fuses. Maybe that is all you tripped. Basically the ribbon in the fuse warps when heated, disabling circuit and returns to normal when cooled.
Yes, relay or fuse thingies... When I was wiring up my switchbacks to an additional relay, there were times I'd try a sequence and it would cause the blinkers to work once, then cut off completely until I turned off and then back on... Other side would work fine.
that's what I ran into. Except it was just a test light, lol
Which to be honest, would likely have more draw from a bulb than the led's it was using.
I had the same issue when adding LED strips. Used a LED test light after, worked ok. Draws less current and didn't trip the protective device (which as others said, reset itself).
makes sense
May need to buy one
