that would be awesome. I bought mine from the same place you had and I still need to paint them and bend the vents to the proper angle. which is the main thing that bothers me right now. I thought they would come already at the correct angle but nope lol. so I have to bend them, then paint them, and then will be ready for the install.
-
so just in case for those of you that are looking for something that is pre-cut, pre-bent for angle, pre-painted, this set isn't. Just an FYI. wanted to do my civic duty lol. I bought this set and am very happy with it so far. but it hasn't made it past my bench lol. I still need to paint them, and angle the blades, and then install them. but a great price.

@Br4hm4 I felt the same way you did when i got mine. it took me three hours to talk myself into making that first cut lol. After that first cut I said well no going back now so move forward. I made a template and mocked it up under the hood, to me that was the easy part. @Hernandeves5 I will get those pics to you today sir. I thought the same thing as you did when they did not come bent. But you can bend to your desired opening of what you like. I would bend a little at a time until you get your desired look your going for and leave them be after that, if you keep bending them back and forth you may break a vent off.
-
lol my fear is that I wont get them bent so that both look exactly the same, or it wont function the way it should and after I paint them, I will have to try to bend them more and that will mess up the paint. and of course, what paint do I use? I looked at automotive gloss black because my sling is gloss black. but I don't want to use the spray can because you never get the right finish out of it. it looks like it came from a can and I hate that. I don't want it looking amateur.
-
@Hernandeves5 this is how i done mine, (1) template (2) mock up, measure, and tape off (3) pray ,then make that first cut lol, drill bolt holes.(4) test fit (5) bend vents like you want them (6) prep and paint then install. I rattle canned mine I think they look good. on these pics excuse the dirt got caught in a little shower the other day. Now that i have cut my hood I will be removing these and doing something different to match everything.
