Thank you, I'll see if I can find that too!

leave it off .... You don't need it. I think they use it to set the inserts in place to facilitate assembly.

when you cut the flat tabs and when you reinstall how the part stay there afther
-
Only cut back about 1/8" ... Just enough to easily release. The fender actually holds down on the piece keeping the tabs in when you reinstall. Don't forget the screw at the very front point of the insert

Unless you're going to paint them or something, you can remove the fenders and hood without removing the inserts. I used a slightly modified version of @Painter method to hold the inserts up while I reinstalled and removed them. If you have someone to help you then that's much easier. Once everything was off, I reinstalled the top 2, middled 2 and end 2 screws while the panels were off being painted. I was able to keep driving it without panels with no issues.

No problem man...glad to help.

Painter, first Thank you for the video log it made removing hood panels a breeze.
One on my black plastic insert panel had laqure thinner overflow on the outside and it now has run makes on it. Will Back To Black remove or do you recommend something better. -
If thinner was not wiped off of surface within a minute or two and some was allowed to eat into the surface, you will get that streaking. This is barely on the surface. As I wipe off the thinner quickly, I've not had this happen but had someone else with the same problem.
I took a rag, put a little water based Flat paint on the rag and rubbed it into the area and that took care of it. Thinking now of DIY and you have the inserts off, it would be a great time to paint them to seal and keep them from chalking over time.
For DIY, I would clean with 91% rubbing alcohol, let dry and spray paint with satin Fusion . Let that dry over night. Very light coats with 15 minutes between coats.
