Got it! Finally got through huh?

I second that motion. If he is only a student we all stand no chance of ever graduating.
-
I would spend the rest of my life in summer school trying!
-
I'd have to hope for some type of work release program.

I think he's stays a student for a while. He's the teacher's pet. No wait. With all he knows, all he's done and all he is, he IS the teacher. We better change that label quickly. Hope he likes apples

Thanks @Painter for the videos all very good info. And thanks also for the PM but the dark side forum Nazis got to it before I did. But it's all good now I found the light

@Painter I told you it was something I wanted to do. Do I leave the tape and just put it back on when I'm finished with it? Thank you so much for the detailed video. I would get to a point and watch the next one.
if the tape is flat I would just leave it on but it must be flat! As @rabtech has stated before there are 13 screws plus the front part of the fender to hold it down without the tape.
-
Definitely leave that tape off. No reason to use it. I am just wondering if they use that tape to temporarily hold things while it's being assembled. I'm sure it's structural and they consider it to be needed. It's just a real pain in the butt. And I have over 13000 miles without and single piece on mine.
I will warn you. When you put the plastic inserts back on the hood. Make sure they are laying flat and they are recessed into the paint part of the hood. If you just lay them on the hood and start screwing them tight from the back side you will snap off part your screwing into. I did one of mine and after I went outside and threw up I came back in and plastic welded it back on. Just be careful

Thank you I would have definitely messed something up....
