I had a bad leak (my fault) and I need to buy new.

Depending on how much coolant you've lost, you could just replace it with "water-wetter" As long as you're only talking about a quart or less. If not, you'll have to get the real thing. I believe you can use the GM approved Dexcool if you don't want to use the Polaris coolant

Any Dexos compatible coolant will work, most of the stuff you find at the auto parts stores will be Dexos compatible, but just check the label.
Hope that helps,

Thanks FITS and Dave. I bought the Prestone DexCool 50/50.
@dave in case you are curious. In all our efforts ( @Slingrazor and @Painter ) to get the hoses done among with the SC. We forgot to tighten the clamp on the DDM hose coming out of the bottom of the new tank.
All better now. Obviously I am not very lucky when it comes to hoses

It's a good thing we didn't change your brake pads and blow brake fluid as well!!!!

That's a fun one. Especially when it starts eating your powder coated parts!

Your definition of "fun" is vastly different than mine Cam.

Oh no! Catch the brake sqeezins is a wonderful game. When you know they'll eat up that pretty finish on your expensive new calipers or powder coated wheels you'll get that real urgency edge that gamers crave.

Anybody using this stuff?
It’s supposed to lower the water temperature by as much as 30 degrees...

Anybody know about this?

I have several GM vans with 5.7 motors...two needed the lower intake gasket replaced and most mechanics blame it on the GM antifreeze....
Since we have GM motors filled with GM antifreeze....I’m not feeling all warm and fuzzy about it.
I read articles that claim switching over To the green stuff after using the orange is even worse on the gaskets...
