Yes. The mfg removed this in an effort to bring the retail cost of the unit down. We can still get the "T" harness for you if you'd like. This will also allow you normal operation of the "keyed" ignition.

Slingmods, I would like to get the T Harness, did not know that was an option. What do I need to do, and how much? Thanks

If you ever get stuck you can call them 24/7 and they can start you remotely

Would you mind sending me the "T" connector information and pricing
Thank you

I used the switch from Digital and drilled a hole in the steering column cover where I could easily reach it.
@Slingrazor I am gonna order these switches for Jim and I. Can we add these to the April install list?
-
Ok my next question is HOW do I order just the accessory switch?

Easy enough. You probably need to call Slingmods directly to order the extra wires.

This should be in slingshot related section.....not anything Not slingshot related....just saying..
This is good stuff as some of us are considering.

@lrobbi
Did you install the cap over the ignition?
If so is it easy to get on and off.My thoughts were to install the T and cap the ignition
If I were in a jam I could pop off the cap and use the keyYes, when @TheRock did it he added the cap cover....I am with you, I would like to have that option "incase" my fob doesn't work for some reason. I want that "T"

I leave the T disconnected and the ignition uncovered. When I need the key, I remove the lower panel and connect the T.
The only time I have had to do this is at the dealership for them to hook up the digital wrench because the key needs to be turned on to work. This also stops an accidental flash of my ECU. -

Will, if they did it to bring costs down, why haven't the costs come down?Correct me if I am remembering wrong, but I feel like I remember $279 being the exact cost it was originally released at.
