HELMETS????

That's a beautiful piece of overkill you've got there! I typically wear a little half helmet like the ones @slingmods sells for around sixty bucks. I do have some full face helmets that I'll wear in the dead of winter or on track days.
-
Haven't purchased it, I'm just curious about it's functionality. It does have, at a price, the blue tooth comunication system.
-
It is a great helmet, I have it with the Sena SMH-10 set-up and has great sound and features.

My wife & I have the Harley Davidson Modular helmets
There is a port on the opposite side that allows the wiring for the Bluetooth system as well.
Personally, if you need to wear them, as we do here in Manitoba, then they are great. The Bluetooth works very well within them and give clear sound. Only small issue is the space for my mellon between the mouth and the chin guard is small, and the mic is always just touching me. You get used to it, but you also know it's there.
The helmet you have posted looks very similar.

Good Ole icon, not everyone's cup of tea but they fit my big Ole head perfect.
-
I have the Bell with the Sena Bluetooth I wear all the time because I run my music thru it and the wife rides her own bike and the bike to bike works great for us.

I wear a short little halfie or a generic 3/4 that is painted like an Oakland Raiders helmet minus the face
-
My helmet doesn't weigh as much as those others do...
Sorry I couldn't let this pass by....
-
have the Bell Pit Boss- little 1/2 basic helmet with retractable 1/2 shield. Since a helmet is the law- I like this one- pretty comfortable for long rides.
-
No helmet law in S.C. but when I have to, I wear a carbon fiber half/beany helmet for me. Cold weather or rain a full face works for me.

For those Sena users is the pairing independent ( two cell phones different music) or it solely binds to one source?

I think you can pair them either way but the wife and I have them independent so we can listen to our own tunes. We use the Sena 10r we love the size and can be used with most helmets.

Because it was cheap (not used) and DOT approved... Duke helmet... Not required in Texas, but use it to protect my pretty face... Don't need a rock or something striking me... Even though I have an f4+something, I've already got hit in the helmet and it scuffed it bad... Triple digit highway driving
If no highway involved (or riding with Slings in front), I'll go helmet-less...

Guess you answered...

I have one like that, it's nice when it's chilly out but in the summer you roast in it.

I spent WAYY too much money on my stereo to block the sound with a bulky piece of plastic over my head. All about the sun on my face and wind in my hair. Helmet kills the whole experience.
-
I hear all of you who don't need or want to wear a helmet. A convertible auto is mighty fine but as low as our slings are I have taken a loud but harmless hit on the helmet and a nickel sized piece of gravel hit the passenger headrest so hard it sounded like a gunshot. The right helmet is a comfy one.

That is so true.......this guy hit like a rock. And he was still alive for awhile.
