Trouble shooting lean condition with Hahn turbo system

As many of you know, I have Hahn turbo system and detonated the stock engine. I went to @Dave@DDMWorks and had a built engine installed. Dave put it on the dyno and I had 320 WHP and 360 Tq,but was running way too lean. Dave and his crew spent many hours troubleshooting someone else's setup by swapping parts and retesting. They let me use a loaner set of injectors that richened up the AFR 1 whole point, but not good enough and ended up setting my boost at 3 psi until we can correct this condition. I received my fuel pressure tester kit today and it shows 59 psi Which is above the 55 the shop manual states. Tomorrow the new 2 bar MAP sensor arrives and I'll see if that corrects the problem. Last option (unless anyone else has ideas) is to send the ECM back to Bob and ask him to richen up the mixture another point or so across the board.

I have heard back from Bill from Hahn RaceCraft once (finally) and he offered to troubleshoot it if I brought my Sling to him, but right now I just want him to replace the original injectors so I can get the loaners back to Dave. So far he hasn't replied to my emails or phone calls to his business phone or personal cell. I'll let you all know what the final fix is. Thanks to @rabtech for his insight as well as his compliments on my engine detonation skills.

I told Bob the turbo I had with the side exit exhaust and that's the tune he gave me. Not sure if Bob had time with a Sling set up like that to dial it in, but I have no doubts in Bob's talents.

I'm hoping. Sometimes a 1 year warranty doesn't mean much. 54 bucks is a small.price to pay to solve this problem

Thanks, I'll get this figured out, but running 8-9 PSI with ARP studs shouldn't cause the lean condition. I'm not pushing the envelope like Rab.

Installed the new MAP sensor last week and I have been slowly increasing the wastegate spring and watching my AFR. I am up to the green spring (9.4 PSI-ish) with no problems so far. I plan on leaving it here for a bit longer and then maybe taking up to the 10.7 range.

We do have the same setup except my wastegate is connected to a dedicated dump tube so both exits on the muffler are now just for the turbo exhaust. Need to get it on a dyno now and see how much of an improvement that is.

Here's the latest update. @Noel Hughes was kind enough to test my injectors at his shop. 1,3,and 4 were about the same, number 2 flowed just a bit more, but they were all within specs. I don't know why, but the injectors @Dave@DDMWorks installed richened it up 1 full point. I installed a new MAP sensor and that seemed to solve the problem. I am up to running the green spring with no problems and that is more than I was running when the motor detonated.

I want to publically thank @Dave@DDMWorks again for his help and a Shout out to @Noel Hughes whom volunteered his services to test my injectors. I did not know that cycle springs does complete testing, cleaning, and servicing of fuel injectors.
