Looking for some info on purchasing a floor jack to do maintenance on the Slingshot. Recommendations on brand, length, lifting height. ect. would be greatly appreciated.

The small aluminum race jack from harbor freight works great
Make sure you have jack stands as the SS is not very jack friendly -
Same here except mine's the aluminum one from sams club and yes...get you some jack stands.

I see where Harbor Freight has a 1.5 ton, 2 ton, 2.5 ton and a 3 ton aluminum jack, are you referring to the 1.5 ton with a lifting height of 14.25 inches? Lol, trying to get educated here.

I have both 1.5 and 2 ton. both work
I keep the smaller one in my trailer -

Get the one with the large lifting pad. Let me know when you will be at Coastal and I will bring you a pair of the small jack stands (brand new Craftsman 3 ton). Also be careful the tube frame will bend easily, I am using a short piece of 2x4 to keep the raised edges on the jack pad from bending the frame. I am looking for the plastic pad that fits over the jack pad, I will have to by the 6 inch. Also Harbor has the jack stand pads.

The small 1 1/2 ton race jack is handy, I just bought one but for me I do not like the small pad, but it does not have the raised edges. I also have the big 6 ton floor jack.

Regardless of the jack, a hockey puck works great to prevent frame damage & they're really cheap...

Yep get the Harbor Freight low profile jack. It has a feature where it will jack up fast till it comes in contact with the load.
If you subscribe to their sale paper you can find them about 1/2 price. Go sign up for their email they send out with deals and i bet you can find one.

I need to grab a puck or two. They look like they would be good for all kinds of stuff in the shop..

@Tripod......New Mexico and hockey pucks....there has to be a good story in there somewhere!!!

That is the is the floor jack I just bought. Thanks @Tripod for the info on the hockey puck. My floor jack pad is 6 inch across and 1 1/4 inch deep. So far I have not found a pad of the right size so I am using glued together carpet circles
If you go to Tractor supply and pick up a stall mat
they are thick rubber 3' x 5' I have them around my bench in the shop and I use them under things like my drill press.
I have one I have been cutting pieces out of.
I use it for all kinds of stuff. On sale they are around $30 for the thicker one -
