Can't 'LIKE' the NO ride today....
Dont forget, my Slingshot is my daily driver so I ride almost every day and also we have good riding weather year round. Also my Sara is a table games dealer at the casino black jack and all the other games and she works 8pm to 4am Monday through Friday and I work days Monday through Friday - - this pretty much leaves Saturday afternoon and Sunday when we are both awake and can be together. She would have had no problem if I had wanted to take off for a ride, but I would rather spend what little time we have with her and this is what she wanted to do. In the end I have tons of time when I can ride, but my time with Sara is limited and important to me so go ahead and like it because I do

Georgia and I are heading for Branson, MO for a week end of Oct to 5 Nov. Going to trailer the Slingshot --- We can see lots of shows during the evening and I can ride lots during the day --- Georgia will ride a little. Her ideal ride is hour out to lunch at 75 and an hour home.

The first 3 years my wife and I were married, she was in the US Air Force working a rotating shift with 4 swings, 24 hrs off, 4 mids, 24 hours off, then 4 days with 96 hours off. I was in the US Army and worked a rotating 6 days on, 2 days off, 6 swings, 2 days off, then 6 mids with 2 days off. We usually had one day off together every 13 days or so. That may be why we're still married going on 45 years this December.

I was just going to post the same thing.
50+ days over 100 degrees.
Then 6+ weeks of rain almost every day.The other day, they said the lake was going to go up about 2 feet due to the rain. It went up 6!

Last week on Tuesday, we set a record for the high. It was 90. Not that we would have noticed, as it's been mid/high 80's for some time before that. Thursday, the high was only 60. Been in the 50's since, and pretty much high 40's to 50's are all the forecast calls for the extended forecast. We went from middle of summer heat, to late fall temps overnight. This scraping the windshield (forgot to remote start the car this morning) kind of bites....

Between you guys and @Jonathan Thompson, I'm really bummed on your behalf.Been a few days in a row with a threat of showers, but today is clear and cool, so Azura is out of the garage and sitting in her space in front of my building. It was 54 this morning, and tomorrow is supposed to be mid-40's. Brisk but sunny!
@Ross, once you pack Karianne's Sling away for the winter in a couple days, keep your eye on this thread, I'll keep you up to date with my rides throughout the winter months.

I only make it through the Wisconsin winters by the grace of God, excessive quantities of cheese and homemade chili, and watching you guys ride for an additional 4 months
