Covex Mirror install and report

I got them Installed at the Toy Ride and I have to say they certainly to help with your field of view / the blind spots but the distortion can take some getting used to, it can even be a little disorienting. I think they are a great addition for sure but just know they might take some getting used to.

Maybe we've been talking about two different links. The one in your 1st post is the one that has the extra 's'. ALL of the other links function properly.

I have the same mirror add ons as @Volley37 . They work, but you do loose a portion of the mirror.

Why haven't these bee addressed by some aftermarket dealers. There is only one option out there from @slingmods. The stock mirrors suck and I am sure I'm not the only one who would love something that addresses the functionality better than what Polaris has done.

Here here @MBMedic - I can't believe after 2 years I have only seen 1 aftermarket mirror that I personally didn't care for and now Tuffskins makes peel & stick to dress up the crappy stock mirrors. Wish I had some talent - I'd do sumthin

perhaps Mr @Ruptured Duck has it on his radar for future endeavors.

However DDM or Alpha could do it justice I am sure

Are the Tricline carbon fiber mirrors from @slingmods any better than the stock?

@Chowder you get a wider field of view from those mirrors but not as tall as stock.. So it would be a shorter field of view than stock but you get a wider field of view compared to stock..

@Chowder - the convex mirror inserts on the stock mirrors (Slingmods sells em) is a great upgrade if ya wanna stay with stock mirrors. Takes a little bit to get used to em (for me) but once you do they really give you. Much better field of view of upcoming traffic.

Thanks for info on the Tricline mirrors Will, thinking about changing to them to feed the Carbon Fiber desires.

HI @Bill Martin I did add the convex option from Slingshot Only and agree they do take some getting used too and gave me a better FOV.
Thinking I might try out the Tricline mirrors to add some more CF. Just was concerned about giving the FOV up on these as my short ass cant see much through the rear view mirror.

one of the first things I started to look for were different mirrors and mirror arms. This were the second thing that poked me in the eye design wise other than the side splash guards. Do plan to continue the search for full replacements but until then I made relocation arms that remount the stock mirror lower and out of the way. Plan to have the prototypes installed for SSITS to get feedback. They really don't improve anything over the stock location but do look better in my opinion.

I just installed the aftermarket convex from Slingmods and man what a difference! I love them! Vastly improved field of vision after a slight adjustment to the arm as well.
