Thought your Sling was stress relief?

It is, but I started flying in 1991. I was flying every other day for 9 years. Just loved it. Do not fly very often today. Just enough to stay current. Very expensive today.

I get where you are coming from @av8ingtom - I once got to sit in the cockpit of a corporate Learjet and the pilot let me "fly" for a couple minutes. I thought I had really done sumthin until he said "the plane was on auto pilot - you really thought I would let YOU fly a $15 million dollar plane?" ....BUMMER....again

Not saying I'm 'old' but I use to buy blocks of 'flight time' in a Cessna 150 for $8.00hr YES $8.00 in blocks of 10 hours....Closest thing I ever found to being
solo in a 150 was in the wind on my Gold Wing --- yes stress relief. slingshot dose a good job. -

@EjFord I was getting flight lessons for $10 an hour. The trainer was a friend of the family and all I had to do was pay for the rent on the 150.
Can't remember exactly what my instructor cost was --- probably about $10.00..rent on the plane was the $8.00hr in block of 10 or $10.00hr single..

I spent many years in the Navy Special Warfare community. I started out as a Master-at-arms, then a Combatant Craft Crewman. we were operational support for seals. Loved it, until an injury ended that prematurely.
Now I'm in the beer business. I'm a Master Certified Draft System Installer. Basically, I make the beer flow. I've designed draft systems for everything from small bars to football stadiums. Whenever there is an MLB, NHL or NFL stadium or concert arena being built, I'm normal the guy they call to consult on the beer system.
I went from bullets to booze. But, booze is better in your body than bullets. -
Some very interesting careers in this group! I've worked in the financial industry various progressive roles, currently Director of National Underwriting center for a Mortage default insurer. (In Canada if you have less than 20% down when buying a home the mortgage requires default insurance issued by government or one of two non govt providers)I work for The non-govt option

We have that requirement here as well @Chowder it's called PMI.
When your down payment is less than 20%, you usually have to pay for Mortgage Insurance, (PMI). This protects the lender in case you don't make your house payments, they repossess your house, and they have to sell it for less than the amount left on the loan.
