Beta testing the new Software

I have spent most of the day testing the new forum software....

Its not ready for public consumption yet.. But its really close...

A few things that I have noticed that everyone will like...

When you tap the QUOTE button it pulls ONLY the last person in a multi quote and automatically inserts it into the box you type into...

When you upload Pictures it gives you a ton of things to choose from so that you can put it in a map... Basically the gallery can give everyone their own photo scrapbook with an interactive map.

The Forum included a picture of the avatar of the person you quoted for easy access to send a message to them and so that you can easily see who is talking through the thread...

And I could go on and on....

Here are some stripped down photos of the base modules... It doesn't have any of our current plugins or themes... Its just some beta screenshots... Sorry they are tiny... I had to screen capture them and that meant I had to shrink them. I just wanted to show everyone that something sleeker and even faster was coming up soon....

Its hard to believe that its faster than the current forum but it seems to be...

As long as they are not something that gets in the way or hinders people.

These new features are things that clean up a lot of the pages...And I think everyone has asked about most of the new features that I have seen today..

Spammers are annoying. But I can take care of that pretty easy.....

It wont be any different than what we have now... It will just have little additions that help out ...

One of the things that people dont care for is when you quote someone that has quoted some other post you get this stacked quote over and over.... Now it will just grab the last poster and carry it automatically to the reply box and put it in. You dont even have to hit reply.....

I promise I wont make any changes in the way it works... That is really the beauty of staying with the same forum software and just doing the updates... It keeps everything easy and no learning curve needed....

Over the next month I will be adding the "plugins" that make it "our forum". I have to test each one and make sure they work... And Il have to build out the folders we use and also test the NSFW section and make sure it works with the passwords...

Just all kinds of testing to do before anyone gets to play...

I just thought it would be neat to show everyone that there is something new coming....

I know it supports all the emoji symbols... That was so iPhones and Android phones could post and use their keypad to insert emojis... No more having to use smiles if you just want to use your phone to post...

It will still have smileys as well as emoji

By the way... That is me laying the Ducati as far over as she will go...
