Hey All....... Just looking for some honest input to find out your taste of plate position................
Vertical or Horizontal.............?

Not that it matters to me, but vertical is illegal in a lot of states. I would stick with horizontal.

Too bad they can't print a plate vertically, it definitely mounts better that way but looks funky because of the letter positioning. The horizontal looks like it might get hit by something and bent.
-
How about horizontal, but mounted above the belt guard and attached to the lower shock bolt. I didn't go check, but I think the plate would look better there than to the side of the belt guard
-
can you mount it horizontal on top of the belt gaurd?
-
I like the horizontal look, but in it's present position it sticks out too far and looks out of place. If you can tuck it in somewhat like the pic @jorgebri60 posted, but maybe in a new location of your choosing? Perhaps fabbing a longer bracket to place it directly behind the belt pulley?

Wow.......... Thanx for the input I wasn't aware of that...................

Here's a shot of mine. It's a little bit over built, but at one time there was a fender attached to it. The brace kept breaking, so I just cut it off. I used the license plate light from the original bracket.

That's where I originally had it mounted with Metricks bracket .......Although when I purchased Assaults shock mount Clevis I had to go with TricLED's bracket....I really liked the look of it mounted on the stock clevis like yours is @jorgebri60 ........Oh well its gone back to horizontal with Tricled's bracket for now.....found out vertical is illegal in Ca. Thanx for all the input guys..............

I'm with you on the placement of jorgebri60's position. I like it

Boy, that is not what I thought this topic was about...
I intend to go to the vertical look, because I like it, but I was not aware that some states do not allow it. Thanks for the heads up.

Pennsylvania gives you the option for either way and makes plates both ways.
