I am installing a Clarion CC520 Camera as my front camera in about an hour.
Look forward to seeing how you mount the camera.
Just curious, has anyone figured out how to do this with the infotainment system? I heard that @slingmods was working on it.

Do you mean how to wire an aftermarket camera to the factory entertainment system. Relaxin the factory camera?
Basically, a way to run a front camera and a rear camera on the factory radio and be able to select between the two. Either just adding a front, or adding a front and replacing the factory rear with an aftermarket.

Thanks for your diagram. Could you clarify it's operation for me:
1. When the switch is left in the middle (or off) position, does the camera still work when switching into reverse?
2. If the switch is set to the front camera and then reverse gear is selected, does this override the switch and send the reverse camera image to the head unit?
I am not sure if I am reading your diagram correctly but it suggests that only when the front camera is selected in the switch does the relay receive a charge/input voltage. If that is correct, how does the reverse camera receive power when reverse gear is selected?

Display MoreHere is another instruction sheet, this one explains how you can view the front or rear camera by flipping a switch.
Here are the parts you will need:
(1) SPDT Relay
(1) 3-Position Switch
(1) 1A Doide
some wire and connectors. That's it!

These instructions are for adding non factory cameras....is it possible to just use the factory back up camera full Time?
How would you accomplish this?
I don't see a need for a front facing camera unless you can use it to make a video recording.
