  • The boss has allowed me to put a down payment on the new Indian FTR 1200S that will be released in March! Back around the turn of the century I swung my leg over a Buell M2 for quite a few years. When the Harley mother-ship lost interest in the Buell, it disappeared. I really liked that bike and believe the FTR is what the Buell should have grown to be. I am so excited! 2019 Indian FTR 1200 S Motorcycle | Indian Motorcycle slingshotinfo.com/index.php?at…5a78d3e16050a0a53c5b13a61

  • Bleeding clutch

Slingrazor - - Polaris Slingshot Tech Center

    Post

If they just replaced the master cylinder, the air will work it's way out. If the slave cylinder had been replaced it can be a a hassle to get the air out. If anyone has to replace a slave cylinder look at Werks, the have one that has a bleed port.

Quote from wjfyfe: “Yesterday we took the Grasshopper on it's first longer ride with the Sport top, about 90 miles to the coast at 55-60 MPH on twisty roads, where it didn't start out all that great. We actually pulled into a rest area after about 60 miles to see if we could find any ear plugs lying around from when riding with the original Polaris windshield, the wind noise was getting to much for us to bear. Well, we couldn't find any ear plugs, but just for experimentation I took the front of…

  • Quote from SlingRider: “@Slingrazor is this something we could use with the fenders?? ” Something for the older fenders. Not sure the new ones could be modified. The dont have the big holes.

  • Mount your support inside the sling attached to the frame and have it go thru the skin underneath.

We can tolerate the Badger and Sow, but the Ilinois political machine would not be welcomed in our red state. WPS

  • Angry eyes!!!! You are so Jeep.

  • Quote from edwardaneal: “Quote from Slingrazor: “Yes they both have them. Goes with removing the fins and making the tail flat. ” now thats sad - I notice the hoops, but not the missing fins ” Most say they don't see the fins are missing. To me, this highlights how Polaris missed a design issue with the tail, it looks natural to be flat.

  • Yes they both have them. Goes with removing the fins and making the tail flat.

  • After working with Vern at Light The Night, I put together a relay and brake switch that he will be selling at the events that will allow you to add brake lights to the sling. This is what we came up with for Felicia's. youtu.be/J-4HFH08LYE

    Post

Quote from wjfyfe: “Quote from Slingrazor: “You can check it when it is not raining. When you get it correct there will be very little air flow coming under the top from the windshield. Just adjust it , drive it, check the air flow by placing your hand just below the edge of the top. You will feel the difference as you adjust the angle and height.Where does the rear catch for the top grab the pin? Is there room behind the catch and the back end of the pin? You can adjust the top further to the r…

  • MeanSling Sport Top and rain?

    Post

Quote from wjfyfe: “Ma Nature obliged me with some showers this evening allowing me to check out the Sport Top in the rain and here are my findings. I was hoping that maybe the windshield would blow most of the rain up on to, or over, the top. Well, no such luck, the rain still comes in under the top getting me wet from the chest on up. And while stopped? That gap in front of the top over the dash allowed rain to get me wet from about the knees on down, plus the water dripped off of the leading …

  • Installed a @Jeff Welter Side Kick exhaust that I purchased slightly experienced from @Ghost. Our 2015 sling has now had a custom exhaust, Alpha Side Exit, Alpha Variable, and now Welter Side Kick. Felicia says the Side Kick's performance is the best of them all. Not surprised knowing the type of exhaust Jeff produces. (The variable still works if anyone would like to buy it)
