  • Quote from MACAWS: “Hey Gang just a quick heads up. The lake is currently at 309 ft above Sea Level and expected to crest at 310 ft that is 10' above normal. Since this lake is primarily for a flood control and everything down stream is already flooded we do not expect it to get back to normal in time for Booze and Blues. As of today the only real impact it will have is on our planned routes sine many of them cross the lake and run thru the low lying areas currently flooded and or washed out. @D…

  • With Hurricane Florence now behind us... I spent some time in the shop and created a couple of braided harness for this SUPER BRIGHT fog light array (even wired them to auto-dim when the high-beams are engaged so as not to blind oncoming traffic). If you look carefully (the pictures do it no justice IMHO), you can see the dimming effect. slingshotinfo.com/index.php?at…c420463949a4bf09b7036bb83 slingshotinfo.com/index.php?at…c420463949a4bf09b7036bb83 slingshotinfo.com/index.php?at…c420463949a4bf0…

I for one, am ECSTATIC that torrential rains didn't flood our area more than it did ~> truly feel like we dodged a bullet!

  • I can do them... just been super busy as of late. Can do aluminum up to 3” thick and 2x2’ wide - no worries though, I’ll just make one when I have a little more time on my hands.

  • Quote from MACAWS: “Hey kids check this guy out - I know a few people who swear by his predictions and he has been dead on for this hurricane Warning he is a little crude youtube.com/watch?v=Nwq4bxdOjac&feature=youtu.be ” Got to say... I like this guy. Reminds me of a Long Islander I once knew.

  • Quote from MACAWS: “Ever since I put 18" x 9.5" wheels on the front of my sling it has made getting into my trailer a challenge with about 1" clearance on ether side of the wheel wells. I have beat the crap out of the edges of my rims. Having them powder coated would cost another $250 and it will only happen again. I have seen rim protectors on a few slings so I started my search. I found a product called Rim Ringz they are a little pricey but unlike the products that are peel and stick these ar…

  • Quote from D.W.Slusher: “Quote from ericastar76: “No need to drill... in fact, you’re better off not drilling as there’s plenty room to slide the wire to the battery. If your sitting in the drivers seat, run the wire down the left frame tube out underneath the rear of the sling. You can’t miss the exit out as the opening is about 1/4” wide. In the photo: the black wire (which is 4AWG thick) slides right through the opening with ease... follow THAT tube. ” I hope you have that distribution block …
