  • Dear Santa: youtu.be/BkoWaVz6U3M

  • Miss your face Lucas!! Glad to hear you’re safe and can’t wait to see more pics of your time over there...

  • Again... I am firm YES! My friend Bill Reece (Charlotte local) is also a YES ~> He'll be on here later today to confirm that. I'm working on a few others who promised to get back to me by Friday... that's all I got.

  • Mitch, I'm in for it all! Just need a place to crash Thursday night when I get there (I booked the Magnuson Fri-Sun because Stacy has to work Friday is coming up that afternoon). Who has extra room in their bed an extra bed in their room for Thursday night? (couches are cool too)!

  • Quote from KayTwo: “Getting ready to go do one of the worst parts of the job, for the best reasons. Another shipmate going to his final watch. slingshotinfo.com/index.php?at…8033e1f20a1362652f519bfc2 ” Couldn't think of a better man to handle this delicate situation... Strength and honor my friend ~> your respect does not go unnoticed!

  • I have another rider bringing his sling... maybe more. I’ll circle back in a few.

  • I'm in... LET'S DO THIS!

  • Quote from Soluga: “Would love to see a picture with these on your ss. Moving to the 18 inch rear do you only need to be concerned with adjusting your belt? ” Shouldn’t be an issue as I’m not adjusting my suspension. Looking at the details of my new config, there is less than a half-inch diameter difference between my current wheel radius (Tire A) and my new config (Tire B) ~> this should also help keep me adjusted to the current ride style of each set as I swap them out on the twists. It’s impo…

  • OMG I’m in love... These tires look AMAZING!! slingshotinfo.com/index.php?at…8033e1f20a1362652f519bfc2 The original set of wheels I was going to get, had some backorder issues... Got these instead: ~> Front: 18x9 +35offset ~> Rear: 18x10.5 +35offset The rear will fit better on this set as compared to my original purchase... but for what I was going to do with them, it wouldn’t have mattered. slingshotinfo.com/index.php?at…8033e1f20a1362652f519bfc2

  • I use this software for all my more complex stuff these days: VideoStudio Ultimate 2018 It's fairly simple to use as the learning curve is extremely small when compared to Final Cut Pro or Premiere/After Effects (which I now use only seldomly). Check out this video and get yourself a copy (you won't regret it)!! youtu.be/AeqA8tmxX3Q

Like a slideshow and include actual video from everyone's cameras...?? ” on my to do list LOL ” Sweet! Let me know if you need any help with telling y'alls story... have a bunch of ideas that would make your video POP! Ideas like: an intro pic of each rider and a description of them before setting off on their part of the ride. The music each rider likes playing in the background. Cut scenes…

  • @Ross Have you thought about making a movie from all the pics? Like a slideshow and include actual video from everyone's cameras...??

  • Ross... I'm in awe! Over the years I've amassed a plethora of cameras (from your high-end DSLRs to your run of the mill point-and-shoots) and I got to say ~> you NAILED IT! Taking pictures is so much more than just getting the angle and lighting right (which you did flawlessly), it's about telling a story. And through your len, that story is clear... you all had an adventure that many of us could only dream of having and captured the beauty of this wonderful country in ways that would make ANY t…

  • Quote from MiM: “So... Anything gently used for sale @ericastar76? Just curious... Wheels? SLR Rotors? ” Keeping the wheels/tires... selling the rotors/calipers ~> think @Bubblehead already called dibs on them.

  • Quote from Goats_Hogs: “Quote from ericastar76: “I don't see the rubber on these lasting very long... ” Erica, I hope you like those tires, and that they work well for you. But, I thought the drag radials were more for just that, hard acceleration or "Drag racing"? I'm sure those are soft and sticky, just hope they will also stick in the turns. If you think about it, comment on how they do after you've been out to play..... ” The fronts are more radial... but that rear tire has strong walls from…

  • I have it positioned just over the windscreen... it's the perfect place as there's little vibration from wind because it breaks off the top about 2-3 inches above the windscreen due to its pitch. Also, I'm using the same quick-disconnect mounts you have in the picture you posted (they are FANTASTIC). Further, the entire setup fits perfectly on my accessory mount bar (Ride Hard Powersports sells them if need one). Hope that helps... slingshotinfo.com/index.php?at…8033e1f20a1362652f519bfc2
