  • Quote from FunCycle: “Quote from Ghost: “I guess he could always get a small camper to go behind the sling. ” But then they would get hot/cold or maybe wet, can not have that. ” Ride the Slingshot, get wet when it rains, check into the Motel and take a warm shower and nice dry bed...……….

I can never get it back together....

  • @chavey2 What were you looking for … I think something got lost somewhere... Drive the Slingshot to places you want to go. Lot cheaper than a trailer.

  • I have a costumer who built a nice two car garage with a small work out room attached....the two car garage has two lifts and he stacks 4 Vetts.

  • Quote from Michaelteb84: “Darrell thanks for the info. I think the 4 screws your talking about are not visible on the 2018. I think I need to pop out the 2 holes where it mounts and then take it from there. I dont want to mess with it too much without knowing. I need to take it back to the dealer anyway , the backup camera stopped working after a week. Grr ” In the picture you show the brace...Do you have a 'backing plate'? • Quote from chavey2: “Thanks Everyone, I've been looking at different options to be able to CAMP and TOW slingshot. Since my truck is paid for, I'ld like to keep it instead of starting off with a new $60-$80K tow rig, because well, truthfully, money IS an object. That leaves me to the small conventional toy haulers (under 30 ft). The problem with this is that the rear garage is just so high off the ground that you can't get the SS up the ramp and over into the trailer without bottoming out. It's …

  • Quote from SlingLow: “Ok folks, help me out here. The little woman told me to clear out the living room and I've been to busy/lazy to package these up until I have a sale. So I've got '15/'16 and '17/'18 luggage racks for $295 pair/shipped, a big ol' pile of red rear protection plates for $85 shipped, and my 1st pre-production passenger kickplate for $100 shipped, and front grille for $120 shipped. I can package the grill and kickplate together for $200 and the grill, kickplate and rear protecti…

  • Quote from wjfyfe: “HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, I guess that I have been creating a lot of confusion over my lifetime where I have been known to wave just for the sake of waving, thinking that waving is just being friendly? I didn't realize that on the road waving is an obligation reserved between motorcycles only, (even though I do consider the Grasshopper our motorcycle alternative.) Others must be confused also for we get waves from not only motorcycles, but cars, pickups, motor homes, pedestrians.....…

  • Really depends on how you want to spend your $$$.00 cost of trailer, tow vechiel, and cost of towing/and where to stay. I don't tow much, Florida in Jan from Northern Indiana.... I have a Ford Edge, 7 x 14 open and a Polaris towing cover. great combination and reasonable cost and can stay any motel along the way. Use the trailer for business and able to 'write it off' TAXES...

  • What AGM Battery

EjFord - - Slingshot General Discussion

    Post

Quote from hwy64auto: “What battery should I get. Removed battery out it is dead. Looks like a Toyota battery. But what is everyone else is running. ” The newer Slingshots use a different battery... I was able to pick up a similar battery at Batteries + that was a exact replace size and shape, about $125.00 and my small town Batteries + had it in stock.

  • Quote from Hodge: “I did debate pulling out my phone. Usually i can ignore them but sometimes it does still get to me. Apparently I am not cut out to be a celebrity ” I do remember a guy who bought one early in 2015 had it up for sale a short time later... Why you ASK???? It attracted to MUCH attention. and you DIDN"T know that when you bought it. We (as owners) are the lucky few who can afford to own and drive this crazy machine. Enjoy and take the ladies and a few guys for a ride. I stoped to …
