  • @SaltyClownNY With running the big MT on the back at 15 to 18 psi, we cant launch in 2nd gear because we have to much traction, it spokes the clutch. I am going to put the 295 back on which is a little taller, increasing the grearing, than the MT. That combination has worked best in the past. The tune I have on the SC doesn't allow the boost to come in until after 3000 RPM which helps out the launch as well. The early big power the TC gives you is something different than what I deal with.

Quote from SoCal: “Looks very nice! How close is the rear wheel to the swingarm? ” slingshotinfo.com/index.php?at…9ccbb3a726f3ccb67c5876647 With the AR Torque Thrust you will have to use a 5 mil spacer on each wheel to clear the calipers.

On both our slings we are running Anerican Racing Torque Thrust 18 x 10 with a 45 degree offset all the way around. This really opens up tire choices, allows us to run a taller tire in the back, and the extra width up front is awesome in the turns. • If you dont tuck them to tight they will have a ratrod look which would be way cool. Maybe even leave enough space to wrap them with fiberglass tape.

Quote from Casey_SS: “I think some people are running a 305 on the stock SL rim Anybody know which tire and size it is? Actually I found it 305/35/20 Nitto G2 stock ratio (SL Front - 25.98" or 659.7mm, Rear 27.02" or 686.5mm). Stock SL front has a diameter of 25.98" The recommended tire for running on the stock SL rear is the Nitto 555G2 305/35/20, the diameter is 28.43 That'a a difference of 2.45 inches, is anybody getting codes thrown from this combination??? I see the 305/30/20 has a diameter…
