  • it is supposed to go between the two horns connecting them. the compressor and horn is all one piece.

  • I will try and get you a pic as soon as I can. but the instructions that I have don't match the wiring diagram and the harness doesn't match the hardware. the "Y" portion of the cable wont hook up to the old horn and new horn at the same time. its connectors are different and its like I might have to fabricate connectors. just strange. I made a braided cord for a hot and ground to run to the battery but cant quite get the horn situation straight lol. its just weird.

  • ok so I have a little bit of a problem. I have been doing all kinds of research and the wiring is a bit of a problem for me. I need to install my air horn and they wiring they sent me doesn't match anything with the slingshot. I am not that great at doing the wiring and what is necessary to actually get it installed right. Is there anyone here near Lorton virginia that can assist with getting this thing put in right? I will pay but just don't have the know how to do it myself confidently. I will…

  • Thank you, I love the black finish on the outer portion and the brushed inner so that the LED's shine and reflect off of them. It looks awesome at night. much brighter than before.

  • here are a couple of updates, I put the new wheels on last night.

  • very nice. I am going to have to do the same thing. looks great.

  • yes especially when you are talking about 2K. but I got 2 of them yesterday and the third is supposed to show up today. when it does, I am putting them on right away and will post before and after pics. I am super stoked. the rims I initially wanted was 1599 plus 200 shipping bringing it to 1799 and the tires they gave me were 1799 with another 200 shipping for the original cost. so I got 200 off due to the delay and the fact they already took the money out of my account lol. so that is awesome.…

  • well I am working on getting the powder coating or seeing how I can do that at home, getting the proper bend on the vents. and of course tonight I am putting on the new wheels, 20" front and 22" rear. and also installing an air horn. tired of the kids toy bop/beep lol.

  • has anyone bought wheels from RoaringToyz? if so did you have issues with them in any way? I purchased my wheels from them and it said ship usually in 3 to 5 business days. I did this on may 20th. I was called a week later and was told that the tires would be on back order and to choose another set or wait. so I chose a different set. Waited 2 weeks more. finally got an email that the wheels were shipped. Got the UPS with the tracking number. and a delivery date of 13th of june. then a second em…

  • hey @Trooper what is the wire for? it looks like you have something electrical going to the vent? lights maybe? cant tell from the pic.

  • lol my fear is that I wont get them bent so that both look exactly the same, or it wont function the way it should and after I paint them, I will have to try to bend them more and that will mess up the paint. and of course, what paint do I use? I looked at automotive gloss black because my sling is gloss black. but I don't want to use the spray can because you never get the right finish out of it. it looks like it came from a can and I hate that. I don't want it looking amateur.

  • so just in case for those of you that are looking for something that is pre-cut, pre-bent for angle, pre-painted, this set isn't. Just an FYI. wanted to do my civic duty lol. I bought this set and am very happy with it so far. but it hasn't made it past my bench lol. I still need to paint them, and angle the blades, and then install them. but a great price.

  • Quote from Trooper: “@Hernandeves5 I used stainless bolts and washers to attached mine. went to my local hardware store. I will send pics of the underside when i get home this afternoon if you want. ” that would be awesome. I bought mine from the same place you had and I still need to paint them and bend the vents to the proper angle. which is the main thing that bothers me right now. I thought they would come already at the correct angle but nope lol. so I have to bend them, then paint them, an…

  • Hey @Trooper how did you affix them to the fenders? I was thinking about just doing rivets. thoughts?

  • @ethermion hey have not seen you around in a bit, whats going on? so I ordered the larger tires/wheels and they tell me yesterday that they are on back order for 45 days. it was a 20/22 combo. so now in order to keep the money they already had taken from my account, they want to offer me a different tire and wheel set. I looked through what they had and found something I thought I would like by design. it will be 22s all the way around. but the rims are very nice.
