I am scheduling a server migration and upgrade for Tuesday Nov 13th at Approximately 4:00AM CST. The site will be down for several hours while the data and database are copied to our new dedicated private server.

  • Quote from Bigdog: “Wow...I don’t even know what to think about this GM Will Start Selling Folding, Electric Bikes in 2019 Is this to get all the customers they priced out of buying a new car? ” GM had made an announcement that they were going into the electric market in a big way saying they expected to have 40 models of electrics in 5 years. They might be trying to be innovative to hold onto a high price market as car manufacturers abandon low price vehicles. It'll be interesting to see if the…

  • I live in Florida so I don't have to worry about 45 degrees. Most of us tend to ride in warmer weather where our top concern in choosing tires is how they do in wet weather. Was trying to make the point on another thread that Summer blend is generally better for avoiding hydroplaning than all season. The CR ratings bear this out. That's not to say you can't find an all season better at hydroplaning avoidance, just not as many options. Out of 18 summer blend tires, 13 had top ratings for avoiding…

I thought those 4 performance ratings were from customers and I've taken them with a grain of salt. The UTQG rating which is tested shows the 555 G2 with a higher traction rating. "The traction rating is determined by the tire’s ability to stop on a straight, wet surface under controlled conditions. Traction scores are given in letterform. From highest to lowest they are AA, A, B, and C."

I had an F4 at one point when they first came out. It's a good windscreen but it does cause a big backdraft. As @FunCycle was explaining, you've got a very high pressure are in front of the windscreen (as well as what air slides around and above it). You have a relative low pressure area behind the windscreen. The high pressure will naturally work it's way toward the low pressure. On a lot of bubble canopy aircraft they put a vent at the lower rear on the canopy opposite the airflow. same princi…

  • Everyone has pet peeves when it comes to "other" drivers. Rolling through stop signs, slow pokes in the left lane, formation flyers that will stay in your blind spot no matter how much you vary your speed, chronic lane swappers, speeders, no turn signals, the driver with the "save the whales" sticker on her Hummer bumper while she idles for an hour waiting on the school line, etc (ad nauseum). The backing in one is pretty mellow in comparison to most. I know the concern is more with ability but …
