One of the many reasons I went with an LS3 was the fact that I couldn't get the original motor tuned unless I sent my ECU to Cali. Well, that just isn't ideal - the tuner should work with the engine directly in a perfect world.
I was fortunate that Alpha decided to put a brand new dyno into commission at the shop in Wisconsin.
