Well it's been awhile since I've been here, figured ya'll needed an update and honestly it's been a lot of planning for the LS swap. I ordered the parts I needed for it from Bullet Speed in March/23 and got them in November. Keep in mind they usually do the swaps themselves, so was one of the first times a kit was made for someone else to give it a go (I think). This is what I got:
- Headers
- Bullet Speed aluminum billet motor pieces
- coil pack relocator kit
- billet fuel pump mounting hat/float plate setup
- abs delete block
- 400 watt power steering motor, harness, bracket plate
- motor mounts
- fab bot ar5 to ls conversion kit
- water pump
Not only did it take a bit to get the parts I needed to do the swap the motor itself has been an issue. I had a guy lined up to do the machine work / rebuild and then he got to busy to do it for the friend price... Had another guy who wanted to help then he found out it wasn't for a build my friend was doing but for my sling and the guy got cold feet. Sooooo
